It is unclear in this news article in the Palm Beach Post why a 35-year-old motorist had stopped his Infiniti SUV in the center southbound lane of Interstate 95 near the Lantana Road exit Saturday morning September 10. That’s where he was hit by a semi tractor trailer also southbound around 6:20 a.m. The motorist was killed at the scene. The Florida Highway Patrol report says he was not wearing his seat belt but he was texting at the time his SUV was hit. The semi driver was not injured after he tried to avoid hitting the SUV, instead crashing into the left rear of the SUV.

Our condolences go out to the friends and family of the driver who was lost in this two-vehicle crash. Please keep him in your prayers.
